When should I eat "Chew The Fat" bars?
"Chew The Fat" bars are great for satisfying cravings for snacks and sweets.
Try one in the morning with your coffee or tea to give you the energy to kick start your day and satisfy your hunger.
Another great time to enjoy them is in the afternoon when you're searching for something to snack on. It's a small treat that will stop you searching for that snack, and tide you over for the remainder of the afternoon.

Is there sugar in "Chew The Fat" bars?
There are trace amounts of sugar from the ingredients, however we do not add any sugars to "Chew The Fat" bars. We sweeten with Stevia and Erythritol to satisfy the palate, but not affect the Glycaemic Index of the bar.
Can I eat "Chew The Fat" bars as a meal replacement?
"Chew The Fat" bars are not a complete meal replacement and are not intended as a sole source of nutrition. They will sustain you for a number of hours and are a delicious and convenient way to add extra fat to your diet. However, please consider your well formulated Keto journey and add plenty of fresh low-carb vegetables, good protein and other fats (especially avocadoes! YUM!)
Do you have to store "Chew The Fat" bars in the fridge?
To keep the bars firm and delicious for longer, we recommend the fridge. We find them great to carry with us on the road, but try not to let them warm up too much, as they can start to melt.
If they melt, just put them in the fridge for 10 minutes and they'll be firm and just as delicious!
Also, try the different texture of the freezer. At fridge temperature it’s like fudge, but frozen it is more like a chocolate bar!
Why do "Chew The Fat" bars melt?
We are passionate about retaining the nutritional value and good food nature of our product. "Chew The Fat" bars are primarily composed of coconut oil which can melt at room temperature. The quality does not suffer if it melts, but it does lose its shape, and can be difficult (not impossible) to eat as a liquid!
Can I eat too much fat?
It is highly unlikely! Most Keto practitioners struggle to eat enough fat for their dietary needs. In Keto, most of your energy should come from fat. Most eat fat until they are satiated and find it hard to over-eat.
How long should I Keto?
We believe that the Keto lifestyle is a good base. At Essentially Keto, the majority of our time is spent in Ketosis, however just like in caveman times, sometimes fresh fruit or grains are available, so we indulge occasionally.
